The University of Groningen has a long cooperation history with Universidade de São Paulo (USP), one of Latin America’s leading universities.
Cooperation ranges from basic student exchange to research cooperation and the establishment of double degree PhD programs. Furthermore, USP is a partner in the new Joint Master program “International Master in Innovative Medicine” (IMIM) that was awarded funding in 2015.
It is key that cooperation between USP and Groningen first and foremost benefits the quality of research and education. Our role is to develop different cooperation initiatives in support of this. In order for our internationalisation program to have relevance, we continuously respond to changing circumstances.
